Hello 

My Name is Robert Morgan, many of you know me as Nick. I am a lifelong resident of the town of Freedom. I graduated from Pioneer Central School in 1996 and went off to college. My family and I live on Mutton Hollow Road, we have lived there since 2006. I married my wife Kelly from Java Center in 2010 and we welcomed our daughter Cordelia into our lives in 2013. 

Professionally I have worked in the IT industry since graduating from Syracuse University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Most of my experience has been in the education sector. Since 2012 I have been managing technology departments for local districts. Currently, I am working for Belfast Central School. Responsible for managing technology department personnel, consisting of district employees and BOECS contractors. Duties included managing the planning, procedures, policies, collaboration, implementation, and maintenance of school district technology. Administered a department budget and ensured fiscally responsibility. Managed and administered the technology of a $31M Capital project including infrastructure improvements of network equipment, wiring, phones, and key classroom technology. I believe that this extensive managerial experience will help me succeed as your local representative on the town board. From working on the town budget, dealing with civil service appointments, or even creating new laws this is something that is familiar to me. 

As a town board member, the first thing I want to bring a level of respect and professionalism that is deserved by our taxpayers. From there it is my duty to look out for all town residents to the best of my ability while trying to maintain a responsible and effective town budget
